Pam Brown Freelance fine art oil painter

A self taught artist who started painting in 2004.  Pam's work in acrylic paint & oil paint are so realistic in their detail they can easily be mistaken for photographs.

Pam developed her artistic interest in painting by self teaching techniques furthering her knowledge, abilities, and natural talent. Absorbing all she could learn from the inspiration of great masters such as Vermmer, John Constable, Frans Hals and Rembrandt, she developed her own style for expressing  inner passions. Painting primarily from photographs given for commission work or captured while traveling , her love of animals and all living things, she paints realistic colourful expressions of animals, people and the beauty that is around each of us.

Pam had her first recognition as an artist in 2005 after entering The Festival of Arts, winning The Moira Healy Memorial Trophy and continued with this success in 2006, 2007, 2008.

Pam now works as a freelance artist based in Barwell, Leicestershire, UK
